Organization and God

Organization: 1) Preparation, arrangement, order. 2) Establishment, organization.

Organized: 1) Organized, grouped. 2) Orderly, arranged. To organize: to arrange, to organize, to set up an organization….. Basic Turkish Dictionary, Kemal Demiray.

The meaning of organization in the German dictionary: 1) To build according to a plan. Organization, Order, the form of something. 2a) In a group; Society, Union, the joining of grouped persons for the same aim. b) To be together, structure, building. The instruction, order of an institute.

Form of organization: certain rules. “The form of organization determines the management style of the firm.”

Organizer: 1) To prepare according to a certain plan. “Politicians are organizers in proclaiming, announcing something.”

In connection with our subject, the meanings of these words in other dictionaries too must be explained more or less the same way. This word, in the 16th century, its Greek being organon, was derived from the word organ.

The dictionary meaning of organon, that is, organ, is: “tool set, musical instruments, instruments of purpose”; ergon “work, work of art, labor, duty”.

Entering the French language in the 18th century, the word organize, later again parallel to this word organ, is in the sense of “to bring an organ into being.” It was derived from the Latin word organum, in the sense of “working tools.” That is, to make according to a plan, to give shape.

In the holy writings this word Organization does not occur even once (the Torah, Psalms, Gospel, Quran are meant). It has been encountered nowhere, neither in their original languages nor has this word, after it was produced in the 18th century, entered the Holy Scripture translations made afterward. And I want to state, as a fact, that the Jehovah's Witnesses themselves did this research, and accepted the result with sorrow behind closed doors. None of their members has heard this either. Had I not read it in the book of Raymond Franz, whom they threw out from among them, I too would not have heard it. Because the Jehovah's Witnesses are an Organization, and their members are taught at every opportunity to boast of this Organization. What I want to tell here cannot be only them; going much deeper than the dictionary meaning of this word, I will try to prove what it in fact means for us humanity, its power, its impositions, giving examples from history; and most of all from God's words, whether God is an Organizer God supporting Organization in the sense we understand. To tell the truths lying beneath this single word, a very long book could in fact even be written. I will again try to bring an explanation as briefly as possible but most of all in the way that concerns us, in our own field.

With a simple question we all know, can we say there are well-organized things or there are badly-organized things? Can a person perhaps explain everything very simply this way?

I never forget; when we were about 15 years old I had a friend whose father was a coal seller. One day I had gone as an overnight guest to their house. For a reason I do not know, I was seeing my friend anger his father with the sharp answers he gave him. Beside me my friend had become as if a lion. Although in fact he was very afraid of his father, at his behaving so I was both astonished, afraid, and ashamed, thinking, “why is such an unpleasantness happening right now while I am here.” Meanwhile, probably to emphasize his son's ignorance, the father asked irritably, “Tell me then, how many kinds of coal are there?” Because his father was professionally a coal seller. And he at once said insolently, “As with everything, two kinds,” at which, while I was thinking within, “oh, he could not answer,” the father continued to ask. With an angry but seemingly purpose-reaching air, upon his asking, “What are they?”, our friend said brazenly, “Good coal, bad coal,” at which should I laugh or cry. It was certain that his father, like me, had not expected such an answer. Every time I remember this event I still laugh to myself.

Well, if we set out from that friend's mentality, can we too say, “there are good organizations, these are good; bad organizations are bad because they are badly organized, or for a host of other reasons”? Only, let us also not forget this at once. On what basis are we giving, or will we give, this evaluation grade of good or bad we make or will make? According to the material growth power of that organization? According to the multitude of members it has? According to its power? According to its having a say among them, whether in politics or in international activities? According to its aim? According to its plan and the target connected to it? According to its being very popular? According to its being approved by everyone, or by a very large mass? According to the bond of unity among its members? To cut it short, by saying etc. etc., and whatever else can be counted, according to which of all these will we evaluate and be able to say an organization is good or bad? Some may say, “according to all of them.” If thought about deeply, it is in fact not an easy question, is it?

On our earth almost everything has been organized. We cannot finish counting them. By giving a few examples we can perhaps classify only the very famous ones. Political, military, religious, national, commercial, terrorist, mafia-like, sporting activities, education, health, etc. etc. Now come, under this class, give a grade — well-organized or badly-organized — to establishments, societies, armies, religions, politicians, terrorists, man-hunters, those who work unlawfully, hospitals, educational institutions, organized for any reason! While that organized establishment gets a very good grade according to some, according to others it is a very terrible, dangerous establishment that must be destroyed. While some sacrifice themselves, even their lives, for that organization, another opens war against that organization and sacrifices himself for this cause.

Although the working mechanism of all of them in a sense rests on the same principles, from within these classes I will give the weight of our subject to the religious organizations. With the classes I counted I especially widened the area of effect of this subject. Rather than drawing the reader's interest, I want to emphasize that this subject concerns every human personally. All of us, all the world's peoples and nations, are under the effect of these organizations. All humanity lives within the areas of this effect. In this effect, into which organized class do people enter? Whether they enter under the effect of only one or two or hundreds of classes and not the others, I will not make the discussion of that. But as I said, all humanity lives under the effect of these organized things. Whether one wants to or not, one goes to the workplace established under that effect and works. Again one trades, builds or demolishes, gets education or gives education, helps or receives help, and so on, with many places that are in that area of effect. Whether there is still a human in our world living alone like Robinson on an island I cannot know; if there is, it is an exception. For the person who lives alone, without any relationship with anyone in any way, we can say that he lives outside the effect of organizations. What do I want to say with this writing of mine? Without making this more mysterious, let us at once enter the foundation of the subject.

In fact, as I said above, what drew my interest to this subject is that the word organization does not occur even a single time in any holy writings. In the Holy Writings, the word cigarette or telephone does not occur at all either. Because in those times there was no such thing called a cigarette and a telephone, that is why it does not occur. If God is an organizer God, indeed if, as some claim, this is a feature of His, we cannot say of this that it was a thing unknown or nonexistent in those times like the cigarette, the telephone. At the very least, must there not be other words, or works He did in that direction, proving that God has this feature? I asked myself why these do not occur in the Holy Books. In fact the first and most important reason is that God never has need of an organization and does not organize people. Do not be surprised at once; I will try to explain the reason for this as much as I can, even making, at times, repetitions that seem many and perhaps unnecessary.

The aim of organizations means first to plan something and then to make effort to realize that plan. This is so whatever the aim. God and the human He created, however, cannot have need of an organization. Because God has placed His will, His commands, into the minds and hearts of His creatures, and they do them naturally and willingly. This will forms their structure. This does not mean that they are created robots or animals that act by their sixth sense either. They do this because it is right, using their intelligence and abilities, with joy and willingly. If, when we look at the world of humanity, we see that this situation is exactly the opposite, it is because of God's permitting Satan (he was once an angel) and Satan's taking the world under his effect. This sentence I now use may seem funny to the general world viewpoint. As I have said from the beginning, I wrote this writing with the aim of solving what kind of relationship organization has with God. For people who believe in God according to their own head, or do not believe at all, the meaning of this writing is very rotten. To those who want to know the truth impartially, it will contain not so much interesting as life-saving information.

Yes, as I said, God's having placed His will into the minds and hearts of His creatures does not make them a robot. We know that God gave to us humanity and to the spiritual creatures in heaven too the freedom of choosing good and evil from the holy writings, of doing them or not doing them. Since doing God's will is written in our minds and hearts, how is it that we can do what is evil?

In fact, for a flawless, that is, faultless human to do this, he must force himself. The first humans Adam and Eve were flawless. Their losing their features of flawlessness by being disobedient was not only by their forcing themselves to do this wrong work; we again read and know that an effect coming from outside also forced them. It is certain that the effect coming from outside was a very wise, cunning and powerful spiritual creature. A snake or an animal could not have deceived the human, who has a creation far superior to it in intelligence, knowledge and experience. But in the Holy Books we read that Satan, who had a name in the sense of one who rises up, rebels against God by setting himself against God, while he was a good angel until guilt was found in him, did this. (Ezekiel 28:11-19) Otherwise a snake is neither a creature that talks nor one that thinks with such features. But Satan, while talking with Eve, with the aim of affecting her more, chose a show as if making the snake talk. To put it briefly and concisely, we can also say he “deceived.” (In the Holy Scripture the whole of chapter 3 of Genesis, Revelation 12:9; in the Quran the verses from 11 to 25 of surah Al-A'raf, the 7th surah, and Ta-Ha, the 20th surah, from verse 115 to 124.)

Now you may ask what connection these pieces of information have with organization. If our aim is to research what the thought of organization means with God; then we have need of even a little information about the identity of Satan, who is God's enemy. If, as many claim, we say, “I do not believe in what I do not see,” or if only what we see with our eye affects us, then our area of effect in knowledge remains only in that talking snake. And for thousands of years, by putting these into our children's minds with an understanding as if written literally, we have in fact become, in their eyes, tellers of fairy tales. My aim is not only to show the person behind that snake, but to strive to bring to light the information about that person's aims, the way he follows and his area of effect too. Since the earth was given into his hand for a certain period, it means we also have an obligatory duty to know him. Because, and unfortunately, we do many things because he wanted it so. Or it is that these things we do please not God but only Satan. Here too I write this writing with the aim of separating God's works from Satan's works from one another.

Since, as I mentioned above, humanity became imperfect, that is, flawed in God's sight, naturally God's will, which He placed into people's hearts and minds, began to work no longer flawlessly but flawed. When we look at the history of humanity we cannot see, in it, the order that is God's will and which He placed into their hearts. Because they work flawed. If I give an example from the animals, I can perhaps better tell why God has no need of organization and what the saying I advance — “God places His will into the minds and hearts of His creatures” — means.

For instance the bees, the ants. Although there is no one over them commanding them, saying do this so and that so, all of them work for the same aim and in an orderly way. (Proverbs of Solomon, chapter 6, verses from 6 to 9.) The One who created them so is God. And this is only two animal kinds out of millions that we all know. This order over these animals we see in nature, neither did they organize it, nor did God create them in a way that would need an organization. The nature that gives peace and relief to a person — however much we humans have striven to turn it into hell — this order and harmony, which in some places we still feel relief just to look at, is not the success of the thought of organization. The organized human mind has only tried to spoil this nature.

In fact, do not be at all surprised if I say that organization is plainly an order Satan uses. Because, not being like God and not possessing the feature of creativity either, he finds the easiest way, to reach his aim, in organizing. By this way too he has taken the world under his effect. Think of a president, or a king, and a host of people under his command. Here Satan dominates that large community with only a few persons. But this is a practice very contrary to God's principle and aim. God never supports this form, but has only permitted it. We will see many examples of this in the Holy Scripture, in God's relationship with Israel. Indeed, God was for this reason not in favor of any human king's ruling Israel. But the people of Israel come to God and, foolishly insisting, say, “We absolutely want a king over us too, like the other nations.” (1 Samuel 8:4 to 22 and 10:17 to 20 and please read and compare the whole of chapter 12 too. Those who wish can read the verses from 246 to 252 of Al-Baqarah, the 2nd surah, in the Quran. Only, if they do not take the Holy Scripture in their hands, they will not much understand the connection of those places with our subject either.)

The supporters of organization, by emphasizing that the people of Israel were organized by being educated and put into order with the commands God gave through Moses, prove, supposedly, that God too supported the same thing by this. Their aim is, in fact, as in the example of the Israelites, always to appoint over themselves a king, a president, a ruler. I used to think, “those who have this disease of ruling have always been a plague upon people.” Alongside this being so, a bitter truth too is that the people who have the disease of being ruled are in a much greater number. We see the examples of this plainly in the Holy Scripture, again in the Israelites' insistence on absolutely making a king when there was no king over them, and in the history of humanity. (Judges 8:22-23)

Let us come to whether God's aim in His function in the time of Moses was in the form of organization. To this we plainly say no. The fact that there are words like order, arrangement in the dictionary meanings of organization does not mean that the mentality of organization makes every state of being orderly and arranged! Again God is both orderly and has given and gives laws, but this does not show that He is in favor of organization. We are speaking of entirely separate concepts and features. Those who, confusing these concepts with one another, defend the thought of organization are not few. They claim, “If order and laws are not organized in the form of organization, they cannot be applied.” In a sense there is order, there is law too, but to apply these it is not necessary that there be a form of organization there. But people may go to the way of organizing themselves, asking how these order and laws can be applied. Because it is a very easy way, they have gone to it too. And by this they have served not people but the laws. Yet while the laws were supposedly issued so that they would serve the human, a day came and people strove to serve the laws. (Mark 2:23-27) Alongside this, as God always does, these things can also, without being organized, be left to those persons' knowledge, responsibility, conscience, intelligence and abilities. Freely, without having need of an organization and a structure. Indeed, in Israel, while God was king and until the Israelites wanted a king over them who was a human like themselves, it was so. (Judges 17:6; 21:25; 1 Samuel 8:7-8) Indeed even Moses, while he was with sinful and many-erring Israel for 40 years in the desert, never tried to rule them in the form of organization, or to make them slaves to God. (Deuteronomy 12:8) As Moses said: “Everyone cannot do everything that is right in his own eyes either.” But everyone can certainly do the things that are right in his own eyes, on condition of not breaking the law and the order. If we return to this saying of Moses written in Deuteronomy 12:8, I say one must truly be blind not to see this truth. Look, what does Moses say in Deuteronomy 12:8:

“You shall not do according to everything that we are doing here today; everyone is doing everything that is right in his own eyes.”

In fact with these words Moses, while he was with that stubborn, disobedient, stiff-necked nation for 40 years in the desert, plainly stated God's and his own manner of behavior toward them. In short, he emphasized the freedom that nation had. Even though, when we read Moses' books, we may come to the conviction that God is very harsh, with these words it is also impossible not to see how very much freedom God in fact gives. To give freedom means to give value. The more freedom is restricted in a place, the less value is given to the people living in that place. God, however, has always given value to the human He created. Even if at times that humanity was not worthy of it. By saying “God reigns as king over everything,” the meaning that He does this work in the form of organization cannot be drawn. Even in the Messiah, in the work of turning the earth into paradise as king, He will never use the form of organization. How do we know this and can say it with certainty? By looking at the teachings and the way Jesus the Messiah followed while he was on earth. (Matthew chapters 5-6-and 7 - John 8:32)

As I said, one must not confuse some things. The difference between an agreement, a contract made between two or many persons, and connected to it the obligation of persons to comply with it, and organization, cannot be compared. This would be like comparing apples with pears. Yet we are speaking of two different things. The dictionary meanings of organization too are explained in this direction. People may see it as necessary that a plan be made for an aim, and that, to put this plan into practice, persons be organized, structured. This is a viewpoint, but it tramples human values and takes them to the form our present world is in. An agreement, however, is a responsibility that both sides approve and take on. However and for whatever reasons it may be, a contract under which a signature has been placed has responsibilities it brings afterward. Whether one regrets it afterward or not, persons must comply with it. If organization, structure, establishment, etc., determine a style of management, an agreement or contract has no resemblance to this. I make a contract with someone on any thing, but this does not necessarily put me into an organizational bond with him. I can borrow, lend, but this again does not mean that I am organized with those persons, or that I share the same organized institutions with them. But a contract has common aspects that bind both sides to one another. Because both sides must comply with the contract made. But after this, on the subject of how each of the two sides will fulfill that agreement, they may again perhaps feel the need to organize themselves, or they may not. This is something each of the two sides will know for itself. That is, to fulfill a contract it is not necessary to be organized. Some people, while fulfilling a responsibility, a work, a duty or any aim, become slaves to the rules they have set; while others do this freely, without remaining bound to mold-rules, using their knowledge, their intelligence, their sense of responsibility, their love, their manners, their desire, their initiative, their honor, their conscience, their faith, etc.

In an organized, structured society, persons do not have the freedom of deciding for themselves on many subjects. But if it complies with that organization's plan and wishes, this of course is the exception. While that plan is being applied, commands are given to persons and commands are received. Whether they like this or not, everyone must comply with it. Whether one is being organized or in an agreement, we must accept that both sides have responsibilities they are obliged to do. If an agreement brings responsibility afterward, why should persons not fulfill it freely? But an organization never gives, cannot give, freedom. If it does, it ceases after a while to be an organization anyway. Well, what happens? Now whatever happens, happens. And this lengthens our subject and goes far outside it. Well, is the difference only in giving freedom? Let us see whether the difference remains only this much.

God makes an agreement with the Israelites. Under this agreement all Israel and the mixed people living with them also sign by saying, “Yes, we will listen to everything God will say to us.” In the Holy Scripture, in the chapters from Exodus chapter 20 to chapter 24, with this agreement God says beforehand what He will expect from that nation and a part of His conditions too. In that nation's keeping the conditions He gave and in its wish whether to enter or not enter this covenant, God wants to hear the voice of their free will. Well, what do they say? Exodus 24:3 is written exactly thus:

“Moses came and told the nation all the words of the LORD and all the judgments; and all the nation answered with one voice and said: We will do all the words the LORD has said.”

But only after receiving this word, Moses goes up the mountain and stays there 40 days and 40 nights to learn the details of yet other commands God gave that rest on the same principle, and how they will keep them. (Exodus 24:12)

We can also liken this situation to this. Two persons make a contract. One sells a car to the other. Until the buyer pays the price of the car he bought, that contract is valid. Moreover, the one who sells the car is such a good person that he even gives material and moral help so that the buyer can keep the agreement and not turn out a liar! Here, if we want to tell it simply, God made His agreement with His nation Israel resting on a principle similar to this, with such an aim. By saying “God gave Israel commands they must keep,” He put them into a covenant of agreement similar to this. And He gave these commands to educate them on the road of life. Not to organize them. The host of commands that needed to be organized — from the worship tent to the details specifying how they would carry those holy objects — all of them were for objects, items, lifeless things, not for the human. When the human entered into the business, the laws served that human, not enslaved him. If these were used wrongly in time, the guilt was not God's but those people's. The priests and the Levites who helped them were appointed as representatives. They were intermediaries in applying God's commands between God and the nation. Not those who reign over the nation. Their serving as judges does not mean that they ruled like a king. To be a judge does not mean to be a king. Yes, if there is a king, the judges must judge in keeping with the aim of the laws the king laid down. In Israel at that time the highest ruler who could be called king was God anyway. For this reason the role of the priests and the Levites as judges, looking at the cases over the nation, does not bring out that they were kings. We understand their relationship with the people of Israel even better from the book of Judges. Judges chapter 17 verse 6:

“In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes,” — by this being written, we see much better that those priests and Levites who represented God did not have the thought and spirit of organization. Because wherever there is a human ruler, there too are organized institutions, people. If God had united them in the form of organization, He would not have permitted such a freedom as is written here. For this reason — that is, because everyone is doing what is right in his own eyes — did God punish them? No, but only when they left God and turned to idols; and even then, God most of the time did not punish them, but only left them, drew His helping hand back. If God too had the thought of organization, He would never have permitted such things. By these I do not mean to say God never punishes. But I say that in the thought of organization there is no freedom, personhood, faith, love, mercy and the like. The mentality of organization, on the contrary, destroys these. In the thought of organization there is taking orders and living, thinking, speaking solely according to that order. That person cannot say, “but I think this too.” Or he cannot even say, “as far as I understand, I believe so.” And one never lets him say, “my soul wants to do it not this way but that way.” Whether the form of organization be a society, military, mafia or united under the name of religion, it only makes its subjects slaves. And in time, but surely a day comes, they disappear. And the one who destroys is again the human himself. If I write more plainly; an organization is generally destroyed by the members within it who are bound to it. But those people later set up another organization under another name and as if better; that too is separate. The result is always the same. This situation is like a vicious circle. As if turning around a circle, humanity has gone round and round always making the same mistakes. For this reason it is not in vain that some people cut it short by saying, “History is nothing but repetition (repeating the same things).” And they are right too.

Because humanity, until it overthrew a tyrant king, has been worn out, has given so many victims, and overthrew it. Then it brought another king over its head! The system is organization, but for that moment the names are different! Kingdoms, dictatorships, communism, etc. etc. they removed and brought a democratic, capital order. In fact the system is again the same, organization. Is it not certain that the results too will be the same? A matter of time. Where are the Pharaohs of Egypt, the world ruler? Where are the Assyrians? Well, the Babylonians, or where are the Median and Persian kings, their armies? Alexander the Great, the Roman Empire and so many more, where is their power, their wealth, their terror, their dazzling appearances? Were not all these very well-organized nations, world rulers, armies? All these nations, armies, with their religions, beliefs, cultures, wealth, that we counted and did not count as organized, disappeared. The communist bloc of our time too is among these. Well, capitalist America, do you suppose it will stand eternally? Indeed it is written in the Holy Scripture that its end will come in an even more unexpected way. Which of all these names we counted was not organized? And organized in a way called very good at that. Now there is none of them, and the end of those that exist is near.

We said it is written that the people of Israel, in the time of the judges, “everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” Without defending whether everyone's doing what is right in his own eyes is right or wrong, I wanted to emphasize the freedom they had. In great events, when human life is in question, the whole nation's gathering in one thought still does not prove that they had the thought of organization.

For instance, while a man was a guest in the tribe of Benjamin, the Benjaminites forcibly raping that man's wife and using her badly until she died. Then all Israel gathering as if one body against this ugly behavior. This subject is treated in chapters 19, 20, and 21 of the “Judges” section of the Holy Scripture. While doing this, we do not see that the nation carried the thought of organization. There was a problem and this problem was taken up by all of them as if one man. The subjects on which they had difficulty deciding they also solved by asking God. There it is written exactly thus:

“All the nation rose up as if one man and said…” (Judges 20:8)

In organization this is not so. In organization, on the contrary, one man rises and decides in the name of the whole nation. If there is a problem in the organization, that problem is discussed secretly behind closed doors by their presidents, rulers, persons of certain privilege, and decisions are taken in that direction. After this, in applying it, no one is wanted to say no. Everyone, whether he believes that decision or not, whether he finds it right or not, whether he accepts it or not, is obliged to do it. As the Witnesses too, boasting, liken themselves, they work according to the order of a military army. Here the armies in heaven are not meant, but the military armies on earth, which they themselves see as bad, are meant. The Witnesses show their order as something to be taken as an example. If all military armies are under the effect of Satan, because the Witnesses themselves say this; then, according to this thought, it should not be hard for us to understand under whose effect the Witnesses are organized. In fact they judge themselves with their own mouths.

Well, what was done to the community that had not come together with all that gathered nation in the subject I mentioned a little earlier from the book of Judges? Except for some of that community that had not come, all were killed, put to the sword. Now a person asks: “What is there here different from the thought of organization?” The first glance deceives a person and we draw a conclusion as if it is the same. But I mentioned above, “let us not confuse agreement with organization.” The Israelites of that time gathering as one nation in the investigation of such innocent shed blood was because of the command God had given through Moses. The one responsible for the innocent shed blood absolutely had to be punished. Otherwise God would hold the whole nation responsible for the blood of that one person. This was within the laws to which they answered “yes” in the agreement they made with God. And is the punishment of the one who does not comply with the agreement not fitting? (Deuteronomy 19:10; 21:1-9)

Inspired by this event, do the religious organizations not now claim thus too?:

“We too have our rules and principles. We clearly learn and teach this to a person before he joins us. Afterward, whoever does not comply with these rules and principles, by our punishing him within our own authority, why are we not resembling God's organization, or why does organization become only a method Satan uses?!”

The difference is in fact very simple but needs explaining. Firstly, the punishment given to the guilty in the event that occurs in the book of Judges or in similar events, things like gathering together, still do not make them an organization. As I said, the order of a duty, a responsibility, a justice, a penalty, or a love, a mercy etc. to be fulfilled need not necessarily be organized. Secondly, just as no organization on earth always tells its members the truth, the swollen words of their saying, “We told them everything beforehand,” are only traps prepared to draw a person into that organization. Indeed, in a decision, they do not even condescend to ask their members about it.

Let us give the simplest example; whether it is so or not, you decide. I will again give this from the Jehovah's Witnesses, who use the name organization most among themselves. Let me state again, by no means see me, with these examples of mine, as if I am against only them. My writing here is valid for whatever is organized and shaped according to that order — political, commercial, religious, all of them. If I take each one separately, it would not be enough to write in a thousand-page book. For this reason I generally speak of one organization and its examples. The principle is in fact the same and valid for all of them. Anyway, let us come to the subject I claim and its example.

It is true that a person passes through a certain education until they take him in among the Witnesses. This is realized, whether in houses or in meeting halls, with the researches they call “study,” done together. They have organized this work so. So be it, this is not our subject. I write only so that you can make a picture in your mind of how they do this work. For instance, they teach in their publications thus:

We need to analyze not only the things we ourselves believe, but also the things taught by any religious organization we are in. Are its doctrines entirely in keeping with God's word, or do they rest on the traditions of men? If we love the truth, it means we have no reason to be afraid of such a research. To learn what God's will concerning us is and to fulfill it should be the sincere desire of each of us. John 8:32 (In the booklet published by the Jehovah's Witnesses, whose Turkish is “The Truth That Leads to Eternal Life,” on page 13. The Witnesses used to boast about this book that, after the Holy Scripture and Mao's book of doctrine, it was the third most numerously printed book in the world until now. It has indeed been printed in hundreds of millions and in many languages.)

The Witnesses, with many more encouragements and incitements written above like this, defend that, if a person loves the truth, he must not avoid asking questions and researching his own religion. This effort given in encouraging people to be so bound to the truth is a very valuable work. But what did we say: “An organization does not apply such swollen words to itself, but uses them as bait to draw one to itself.” The situation is exactly so in the Witnesses too. All this sincerity, thirst for the truth, asking questions without fear and researching, etc., is only until one becomes a Witness. Once a person enters among these, he must accept their every teaching so that, down to its dot and comma. Although they accept that they made a mistake, if a person says he doubts, cannot believe, any teaching, they at once throw him out from among themselves, saying, “By opposing the channel God personally uses, he can never again be saved; God will destroy him on the last day too.” Now none of these speaks with him, gives a greeting, and even if he asks the way at random they do not answer. With the aim of defending their own rightness, they also show, as proof, verses written on this subject by the apostles in the Gospel. (The verses 9, 10, 11 of John's 2nd letter.) Look, there it is written exactly thus:

In every man who goes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of the Messiah, there is no God; the one who remains in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If someone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting. Because the one who greets him becomes a sharer in his evil works.

In fact this very verse makes us say, “it is a proof that this organization cannot be from God.” Because those who do not remain in the teaching they themselves teach are in fact again themselves. Their real wishes and practices in their own writings are nothing other than to say, “research your own religion, but by no means us!” The difference between their teachings and their practices is terrible. For this reason every Witness in time notices this: Even any kind of thought that seems negative toward the organization is enough for your being thrown out. For this reason, despite a host of their deliberate and undeliberate errors, even though they never feel the need to apologize about these errors; what is expected of the members — “Even if it is a lie, you keep your mouth shut and defend the organization at whatever cost” — this command they call “unity.” For this reason their speaking overseers, with a brown book they take in their hands at conventions, even applaud the one who says, “If the organization says this book is black, this book is black”! A very famous slogan among them too — “Rather than walk alone on the right path, I will walk on the wrong path together with the organization” — these thoughts are all this thought and idea of organization that Satan has insolently made humanity accept. In Hitler's Germany the situation was not at all different. Indeed, in the Merkel administration of the 21st century the situation is no different either. The one we call a dictator, Hitler too in fact organized his own structure with an expectation from the German people exactly like these Witnesses. The difference between the Hitler regime and the Witnesses is only power. If they too had reached Hitler's power of that time, in my view they would make one miss Hitler. With these two examples, taking up one religious and one political organization, I do not want to say that their common aspect is only being organized. I want to point out that they take the power of the politics they go to and follow, which has the same pressure over people, from being organized. By this let us not enter the distinction of good organization, bad organization. Because whether good or bad, all organized human establishments take orders from a single source. All the remaining majority must apply this. What human is faultless and does not sin? If every human accepts that error and wrong will be done, and when we put into this the deliberately done evils too, come then and apply with loyalty that command that comes out! It may be, there is an illness, but no one can be obliged to have this illness pass to every human. If 98 percent accept a command that comes out or a decision that is taken and even two do not accept it, the organization obliges the illness to infect those two persons too. What I tried to liken to illness was our sins, errors, evils. And organizations have only achieved the spreading of these. Again, as I said, God hates these thoughts and systems and says:

You shall not be after the multitude to do evil; and you shall not, turning aside after the multitude, speak in a case to pervert justice. Exodus 23:2 And again:

If your brother, the son of your mother, or your own daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is like your own soul …says, let us serve other gods, you shall not comply with him and you shall not listen to him; and your eye shall not pity him and you shall not hide him… Deuteronomy 13:6-8

Here the difference between God and organization is this clear. Organizations defend unity at whatever cost; God, however, defends and commands uprightness at whatever cost. Of course, if we want to hear, to see! God has never been in favor of a unity that will not please Him, that will trample His principles and laws, in keeping with the multitude. He does not look at number at all, ever. When we think of Noah's flood, before turning the whole earth upside down God saves only one family that can be counted on the fingers, that is, eight persons. Before destroying the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, choosing Lot and his daughters, He saves only three persons. Although the number of the Israelites who came out of Egypt was in the millions, God brings only two persons of those counted into the promised land. In the dialogue that takes place between Satan and God, God, by saying, “In all the earth there is none like my servant Job,” is a God who does not feel shame at there being only one single person in all the earth respectful of His will. On the contrary, even if the number is only one, but valuable, God boasts of that person, because he is worthy. (Genesis 7:1 and 23; 1 Peter 3:20; Genesis 19:29; Numbers 14:26-30; Job 1:8) For organizations, however, these numbers are a blot that reddens their faces, gives them great shame. Because they boast not with superior values but with their numbers, their statistics, their fame and their wealth. And they see all these as success.

Can we not also think thus: “What connection does lying, hypocrisy have with organization?” If an organization lies within it, this is one thing; to show organization, in the sense of the word, bad and wrong is an entirely other thing. Let me give yet another example so that what I mean may be fully understood.

The police, the gendarmerie have been commissioned to prevent lawlessness in society. But the police's, the gendarmerie's taking bribes, lying, taking sides far from justice, is wrong. Yes, and rightly so. But these do not prove that the duty of policing, which has been commissioned to prevent lawlessness in society, is wrong. There are also, even if in the form of small groups within organizations, those who carry out what is said to the letter and never condescend to lying and the like. And these have neither deceived anyone nor resorted to any other fraud. Let us accept that such organized establishments too exist and may have existed, even if very, very few. In fact this is the standard all organizations want to have. This is what I want to tell under this subject. The problem is not in the Witnesses' lying and acting with hypocrisy through fraud. The problem is not in whether that organization is always right and honest either. The problem, whether it be the Witnesses or all humanity, is in their being organized. Organizations, apart from the skill of the tiniest microbe that will come out of them spreading at maximum speed to all of them, only undermine values like the free will, the freedom and being joyful in the human. The human can develop that 90 percent empty, unused place in his intelligence only if he is free. And God created the human for this aim. If I say organizations were invented to destroy these entirely, I think I would again have spoken correctly. Since organizations are in the disease of mold-thought, they strive to make people unthinking, conscience-spoiled or unfeeling, devoid of the ability to decide, feelingless robots. Because for them there is a target, and whatever that target is, the human is in the last plan. More accurately, for the ruler of every organized establishment the human is, in reaching that target, only an obstacle. They always look at the human with this eye and understanding. This is something like the biggest problem a farmer who loves milk and makes his living from it sees as the existence of the cows. By saying, “Ah, how good it would be if there were milk without these cows,” he shows, with the approach he has, only what and whom he values. On the other hand, if we think of a shepherd who is bound to those animals with love, most of the time he is milking the cows so that the milk does not weigh heavy on them. He sees neither the milk nor the money at the highest level. The values he holds highest are his loved ones, that is, in this case those animals. Although Jesus gave many examples on this subject, I will write one.

For this reason Jesus again said, “Truly I tell you, I am the gate of the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate. If anyone enters through me he will be saved. He will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. But I came so that people may have life, have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. The hired man, who is not the shepherd and owner of the sheep, when he sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep and flees. And the wolf seizes them and scatters them. The man flees. Because he is a hired man and feels no concern for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know mine. As the Father knows me and I know the Father, so mine know me. I give my life for my sheep. (John 10:7-15)

In the example Jesus gives here, he speaks of a shepherd's love that is so great as to give his life for the sheep. If you noticed this example, Jesus does not speak of the sheep's endless problems, of how much they tire and hinder their shepherd, or of their foolishness and the like. Because the good shepherd in question, while looking at the target, sees not the money, his interests, his own glory, or his life; but his loved ones, that is, solely his sheep. Because his happiness too is in his love for his sheep. And his target is in their having life, abundant life.

Although I wrote this subject of organization very briefly in comparison to its content, still, after reading it to the end, try to make a picture in your mind.

Most of the time people have known God as one who continually punishes them when they do not keep His laws. Yet with the agreement He made, God has given humanity laws that will provide only benefit and advantage on the road of life. And in their keeping these laws God does not force humanity, but gives counsel in the following way:

I take heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death; blessing and curse; therefore choose life. Deuteronomy 30:19.

Yet the thought of organization does not give the freedom of choice, it obliges. As I said, however honest it may be. Does God too not give that freedom, only for a certain time, to the one who will not accept His thoughts? What is the difference? Is the difference in the matter of time and tolerance? In the end, do not both God and organizations destroy the one who does not comply with their thoughts? Yes, but God does not do this work in the form of organization. We cannot again put God and organizations into the same vessel just because they both kill. In one, the person goes to life or to death freely, with the decisions he himself made; in the thought of organization, persons, whether they are good or bad, always do that thing under a pressure and force. That is, the person does it without even himself knowing what these are and without being able to decide. Why does the just God hate this method? Because He is in favor of what everyone is being plainly evident. Otherwise why would God permit Satan to rule the world? And this is achieved only with freedom, not with pressure. God's aim is to give joy, freedom, eternity. The other one's aim is none of these and cannot be. Even if it wants this, it cannot achieve it.

If I come again to the decisions given in return for a crime, in the thought of giving a just decision and condemning a guilty one to death, there is not necessarily the defending of an organization. Indeed, on the contrary, that judge must have a full feeling of freedom in deciding according to the knowledge of justice and uprightness he has. Just because the judge condemned the guilty one to death does not mean that he necessarily supports the thought of organization. Just as God's judging the guilty one and condemning him to death does not mean that He has the thought of organization. For organizations to find a subject of resemblance related to killing, giving a penalty, and say, “There, we too are like God,” would be complete absurdity. In our world there are many states and styles of administration. Like kingdom, dictatorship, communism, democracy, etc. Although these are different from one another, the penal code exists in all of them. Are they all the same just because they have a penal code? In fact we are speaking of very different things. But because of the reverse educations we received and the distorted systems on earth, it becomes hard for us to distinguish these, and we confuse them with one another. What connection does someone's committing a crime and a penalty being given for it have with organization? Let us not confuse laws with organization. God has given many laws, this is true, but still He is not an organizer God over the living things He created. Indeed He hates the form of organization being chosen in applying the laws He gave.

If you wish, come, let us also suppose that organization is useful. Let us liken it to a medicine useful to humanity. For instance, we cannot deny that aspirin is useful for a headache. But the people whose head will never ache in paradise will have no need of aspirin either. However much a person counts the benefits of aspirin, this is meaningless for God and for His servants in paradise. What is the benefit, to me, of a thing I will never use? A person can again say, “our head aches now, so we use it for that.” Aspirin was only a likening; even so, let us stay with this likening. The supporters of organization do not say, “Aspirin is used by flawed, sick people.” In the example we gave, if organization is aspirin: they say, “God always uses this medicine, will use it eternally too and have it used”! The Witnesses cry out, “God's organization always existed.” The absurdity is precisely here. Indeed they show God as if in need of the form of organization. If I continue with the aspirin example, in short they want to say, not only now, “God will use this aspirin eternally.”

Let us say there is an organization that grants my rightness in what I have told and accepts this thought. Let us suppose that they see dominating people in the form of organization as a temporary order. Even if it is so, no one can claim that this method will be accepted as right in drawing people near to God. Neither now nor in paradise. And if it does, it cannot expect support from God. Indeed it is plainly evident that no religion has seen such support. If this is a solution, a medicine, God never has need of this medicine and does not use it. God created the creatures He created in a way that they would have need only of Himself. Not in a way that they would have need of the method of organization I likened to aspirin. If the whole world applies this system of organizing, this does not show that they necessarily do what is right. In an example, Jesus the Messiah said the following words to people who set about testing him, which require us not to confuse the affairs of the world with the affairs of God:

Their own disciples, whom they sent together with the partisans of Herod, came to Jesus and said, “Our teacher,” “We know that you are an honest person, that you teach the way of God honestly, that you favor no one. Because you make no distinction among people.

Well, what do you say, tell us, is it in keeping with the Holy Law to give tax to Caesar or not?” Since Jesus knew their bad intentions, He said, “O hypocrites! Why are you testing me? Show me the money you use to pay tax!” They brought Him a denarius. Jesus asked them, “Whose is this image, this writing?” “Caesar's,” they said. Then Jesus said to them, “Then give Caesar's right to Caesar, and God's right to God.” Matthew 22:16-21

We already accepted that the states on earth, and perhaps everything, work in the form of organization. It is not in question for us humans to come out of and be saved from these organizations. We know that God too permits these situations only until a certain time. But we can be sure that God meets our resorting to such a way in our relationship with Him with hatred. For this reason, somewhere with these words Jesus makes a distinction: the affairs of God and the affairs of the organized administrations (Caesar).

In history, the system that, with their thick stone-walled structures, each able to stand at least a thousand years, the inquisition courts of the Christian church threatened and frightened Galileo with lopping off his head because he said “the world is round,” and that forced Galileo to take back the scientific truth he put forward, is organization. God, however, never gives such a penalty. Did God kill His angels because they had a wrong knowledge, a wrong supposition? (Al-Baqarah, surah 2:30; 1 Peter 1:12; Ephesians 3:9) No, in paradise too He will kill no human because he has wrong knowledge. Again, let us not confuse flawlessness, that is, faultlessness, with infinite knowledge. To sin is one thing; wrong knowledge, wrong supposition is another thing. I had treated this under the subject of flawlessness anyway.

Those who burned people alive because they read the Holy Scripture, who declared those who translated that book so it could be understood in their own language to be sons of death and chased them, were again these organized Christian churches. Well, what happened to these churches? Are they not still standing? Although their functions are still terrible, history writes that, thank God, those long nails of theirs were broken. We see, even if partly, that this is so in our time. Among them there are some tiny sects that, again for instance the Witnesses, Adventists, Baptists, the free church, Mormons, Kaplancılar, Khomeinists, etc. Although these struggle with many dreams to reach the powers of the medieval church, we can also rejoice greatly that they are not a world religion. Think once, if the Jehovah's Witnesses were a world religion! In whom would there remain a thing called freedom? When their number was 4 million, they were throwing out from among themselves 36 thousand people every year solely for this reason. Of course then this form of throwing out too would immediately change. Because the authority the laws grant them is only this much for now. If their number were 2 billion, consider how much their authority would be. Now if we put the business to proportion. 36 thousand a year when 4 million; if they were 2 billion, 18 million people would have to be excommunicated every year. Within these figures there are no murders, thefts, adultery and a host of petty crime events. These are only persons who did not believe, or could not believe, the Witnesses' teaching, or who said to them, “You are wrong.” According to this reckoning — and these statistical numbers of the Witnesses go more or less at the same rate every year — it means that about every three years the head of as many men as the whole state of Turkey is gone! Almost 60 million people. Look at the success! Because this organization even boasts with such successes of theirs. They say, “We do all these so that the unity is not broken,” and their own members unfortunately approve this thought too.

At one time, a woman member of the Witnesses makes a complaint to the organization. She is asking permission to separate from her husband. Because the elders and authorities in her own congregation say to that woman, “If you separate from your husband you will have trampled God's command, and we will throw you out from among us.” In the Gospel God says, “He does not look with a good eye, for whatever reason, on divorces other than for adultery” (in Matthew 5:32). Her husband too had had sexual relations with a woman, but anal!!! In another similar example male-to-male sexual relations had been had. Even more disgusting, there were those who at times did this business with animals too. The organization answers, says, “No, you cannot separate”! Because at that time they did not perceive such relations as adultery! And this is the so-called channel of God!!!

Time passes, an era comes, and this organization's thoughts also change, and it grants those in such a situation the possibility of being able to divorce. But what becomes of those who, because their stomach could not stand it then, did not listen to the organization and were thrown out because they divorced, the persons they told, “God will destroy you on the last day”? Does someone afterward go and apologize, saying, “We made a mistake”? No, on the contrary, for that person to come, it is necessary that he apologize! “Because the one who leaves us has in fact proved that he is not loyal to us, that he does not live in unity with us in every situation,” these say. That is, since the meaning is drawn that “they are not loyal friends,” for that person who left to be accepted back, it is necessary that he apologize! I wonder how and with what words he should do this too? For instance, should he say thus: “I know, you too now think like my thought of that time, but whatever happens, I should not have gone ahead of you. From now on I am ready to go even to death with my eyes closed, only let you command”? Or should he say, “this thing I did was not humility, and by opposing you I exalted myself”? If he does not say something similar to these, they do not take him among them anyway. The name and form of being humble is so, according to them. Even if you know the truth you must keep silent; you have no right to go ahead and walk. But you must go to preaching every day and make the truth heard to people; you must tell people the truth without tiring, without wearying! I wonder which truth! But to those within your own, by no means make a sound!!! Do not go ahead of them by telling the truth! Well, those donkeys who must do all these — why do they come out, or did they come out, of their own old religion? Could he not have waited for the truth there too? Why did they go ahead and act insolently, saying, “No, you hid God's name from us, no, you lied to us, taught us wrongly, prayed in a language we did not understand, worshiped the trinity”? So then this becomes insolence only when it is done against the Witnesses, but if it was done against another religion that Witness is applauded at the convention! If the name of obeying at whatever cost is humility, if it is patience, why must these features be shown only upon entering the Witnesses' party! Must the right manner of behavior not be shown everywhere, toward everyone? Here, in organized thought there is no such logic. They behave so, they have the logic that solely they are right, and they produce such fruits too. As I said, on this subject the Witnesses are only one example out of tens of thousands.

Some people, despite all these examples, may still say: “Do you put into the same vessel the organized dictators and all the religions organized with the aim of serving God too?” Is there such a thing? That is, do you believe there is a religious organization that serves God? Is not the aim, anyway, to understand the meaning of organization? For this reason I say, “keep reading.”

For instance, an engine or a machine is always expected to work. The same as organs, organizations. The host of parts of these machines joined to one another must always carry on their function in harmony. But the human cannot be compared with these. The human is a being created as one having feelings and dignity, able to think, possessing intelligence, with free will. To liken lifeless things, or the human to a machine or to organs just because they move, is terrible absurdity. Organizations, however, expect the members within them to work in unity like a machine. With this — from the military, to religions, factories, hospitals, terrorists, hired killers, mafias, schools, states and almost everything that carries on its function on earth included — they want all persons to work and function always taking a stance on their own side, like one machine, one organ, one engine. Just as certain things are expected from an engine without anyone asking its state and its thoughts, without getting any sputtering and objection from them, organizations too expect the same things from their members. Of course an organization too has given rights to its members who are human. Like vacation, rest, repose, eating and drinking. There is an obligation to give and do the same things to machines too. A machine too wants maintenance, repair and energy. Machines too, if not rested, if their regular maintenance is not done, break down very quickly. Every car owner knows this. The aim of the spiritual creature we call Satan is to strive to liken the human, whom God created with very superior qualities, to a robot, a machine, an organ, in order to stop him against God. For this reason he has set up his own order over the whole earth. The most important order he uses is organization. Organization is a destroying order in cauterizing people's conscience in order to sink all humanity's joy, happiness, spirit, love, abilities of thinking, capacity of deciding, and most important of all, in the subject of faith. But all these features I counted, and whatever more I did not count, if they will be used for the interest of that organization, then everything is met pleasantly and with love. But when the word “no” is used against their aims, their targets, their interests, this means the end of that person.

After this subject, under the name “Whom Does God Use?” I will write another thought, again shedding light on this subject, very bound to one another.

Did the apostle Paul too not liken all believers to many organs in one body? (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) In the Holy Scripture many likenings are used. Sometimes a shepherd, sometimes a sheep, sometimes a seed, sometimes a farmer. The meaning lying beneath these is important, not those things likened. Paul too, with that likening, gives an example that will support what we have written. He says protect, support one another. He means to say, the abilities of all of you are different, do not puff up over one another. Otherwise he does not say, if your hand makes a problem for you like the Witnesses, cut it off and throw it away. Or because your eye is ugly, gouge it out. On the contrary, he encourages us to keep away from despising one another, saying, “we show more care to the part of us that is ugly.” With these the apostle Paul did not say, “so that the unity is not broken, cover one another's every kind of filth and defend them too.”

Again, so that it not be a confused thought, I must state. When Jesus said, “If your eye causes you to stumble, take it out; it is better for you to enter paradise with one eye than to be thrown into hell with two eyes,” he absolutely did not mean for us to take out our eye. Because while in the sharia laws given through Moses it is treated that the blind, the lame or other disabled persons cannot serve at the altar, in another verse too God commands, you shall not open a wound, a bruise on your body. With the examples he gave, did Jesus trample these commands, or were the things he meant that we should cut off and throw away, instead of our organs, our errors, our bad habits? (Matthew 5:27-31; Leviticus 21:5-6 and 21:16-24) Who takes out his eye because he looks where he should not look? Which is easier, or immediately applicable? To take out the eye, or to master that eye?

Because of humanity's imperfection, that is, its being flawed, inclined to sin, and because the earth is in a terrible situation with Satan's rule, nations, states find the easiest way in being organized for many reasons. (Luke 4:5-6; Quran–Al-A'raf, 7th surah from 11 to 18; Al-Hijr, 15th surah 37-39) Even if this situation is hard, let us say, all right, it can be understood. But it absolutely and definitely cannot, and must not, be done in God's name. And in God's name who and for what should be organized? If God wished, could He not have created robots working like our organs? And let us have no doubt that He would do the best. Yet God creates the human in a way resembling His own features. Not in a way resembling an organ, a machine, an engine, a robot. He is the God of those who seek Him with a free will, willingly and coming from the heart.

Organizations have their laws, their rules. The Sharia too has its laws, its rules. The Sharia was given to Israel with an agreement. This was the agreement between God and Israel. Although law-Sharia does not mean organization, their common aspect is that they are “rule-bound.” Look, what does God say on the subject of the Sharia:

For all those who are of the works of the sharia are under a curse; for it is written: «Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things written in the book of the sharia, to do them.» (Deuteronomy 27:26) It is evident that in God's sight no one is counted righteous by the sharia; for: «The righteous shall live by faith.» (Habakkuk 2:4) and the sharia is not of faith; but: «The one who does them shall live by them.» (Leviticus 18:5) So that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Nations in the Messiah Jesus, and that we might receive the promise of the Spirit by means of faith, the Messiah, having become a curse for our sake, saved us from the curse of the sharia; for it is written: «Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree.» (Deuteronomy 21:23)

If the sharia is this bad, why did God give the sharia? Its answer is as follows:

That is, so that we might be counted righteous by faith, the sharia became our tutor (educator) for the Messiah. But since faith has come (the faith of being conscious that we are sinners), we are no longer under the tutor. Because all of you are sons of God in the Messiah Jesus by means of faith. (Galatians 3:24-26)

While these verses emphasize to us how important faith is, at the same time they also point out that we will not be counted righteous persons by the works of the sharia. Because no flawed, that is, sinful human could fulfill those laws without deficiency. Since for this reason God, with the sharia having become a curse in the body of the Messiah, saved us from the curse of the sharia; because the sharia brought to humanity not life but death because of sins. For this reason God too, who hates everything that brings death to humanity, cancels this agreement that He Himself gave. If you remember, I had said, “let us not confuse law with organization.” If God curses the sharia's bringing harm to the human because of those laws by which He educated us, with what eye does He look upon the organizations of people, which have no connection at all with His own law and with uprightness? As many Muslims and in a sense the Jews too set up in their dreams, they say, “the Quran has brought back the Sharia.” This is only a claim of those who do not know what the Sharia is. Otherwise the Quran has not brought any Sharia. This is only a fabrication of fanatic Jews, of those sick for the Sharia. It is possible to read these problems often, thousands of years ago, in the writings of the apostles in the Gospel. If you read those writings, you too will see that the Sharia-addicted opponents of God have still not changed in our time either.

Since God, giving importance to faith, cancelled the sharia together with its rules, did He after this bring ruleless, head-according lawlessness? Look, let us read how we humans, without the sharia, without being organized, will do the things that are right:

…And the Holy Ghost too witnesses to us; for, after saying, «The Lord says: This is the covenant (contract, agreement) I will cut with them after those days; I will place my laws upon their hearts, and I will write them upon their minds,» He says:

«And I will no longer remember their sins and their lawlessnesses,» He says. (Hebrews 10:15-17; 8:7-13; Jeremiah 31:33-34) Is there an organization that can achieve all these?

Organization only spoils all these things that will be achieved, and do we not see, with its living examples in history and now, that it has spoiled them? Here I compared the sharia laws with organization so that we may more easily understand what God's real aim with us is. In my view these religious organizations are another, very bad version of the sharia resting on human commands and in its form of application. Is it possible to bind humanity to certain rules, commands, pressures? And by other people who are like himself at that! Was humanity created this simple? When God said to Adam at the beginning, “Have dominion over the earth,” by this He meant not the human who is like Himself but the animals and plants living on the earth. (Genesis 1:28 and 9:1-7)

The Lord's word is anyway scattered over all the earth. Everyone can most of the time buy His word for free or for a very small amount of money and read it. The Holy Scripture and the Quran are most of the time free; or are obtained for the price of two, three packs of cigarettes. If the aim is to set up a religion organized to make this word heard, to teach it, on the contrary; those organizations — I say again and again — spoil the meaning these Holy Books give, their content and the thing meant to be told, and it is plainly evident that they have spoiled them.

The Christians who lived throughout the first three centuries had no organization. When it was accepted by the Roman state as the state religion, this too meant the beginning of that disgusting era of Christianity that came after. Because they began to be organized! A host of blood-sucking wolves entered among them. They produced a host of ranks, absurd teachings. Popes, cardinals, bishops, monks, nuns, the belief in the trinity, forbidding marriage, confession, inquisition courts, crusades, wars, etc. etc. We know their fruits. These fruits are all the fruits of organization. Spreading this microbe that comes out of a single head on such a large scale is achieved only by being organized.

Since organizations are this effective in spreading a bad microbe, then must they not be effective in spreading good things too? Yes, organizations seem very effective in reaching a target rapidly. If the target meant here is God, His joy, God has anyway placed in our creation these features expected of the human. He has left the responsibilities, like the fast and slow of this business, to everyone's own person too. Because not every human is one. On the subject of doing them or not doing them, God looks not at force, pressure, threat, but, as I said, only at our free will. To draw near to God unwillingly, with hatred, in fact distances us that much more from Him. Even if, with such an approach, we suppose we stand before Him every day, night and day, this only angers God more. But for organized religions this is a great success. Because they value only outward appearance.

The features God values, that make the human human, as we counted a little earlier, are the fruits (our works) that the spirit gives in keeping with our feelings and our emotions, our abilities of thinking, our intelligence, our capacity of deciding, our love, our conscience and similar things. While we should give great importance to using these and to their developing, all organizations work to insidiously block and destroy these. They even plainly command, “Do not think! Do not decide! Do not listen to your feelings and your emotions at all! Do not develop an idea on your own!” Saying, “We think in your place, we decide, we believe and have faith. If you need to feel love and hatred, we will give these too, again in the way we want,” they want and expect only that they be complied with, that they be obeyed unconditionally. Toward those who show behavior outside this, they are always ready to do whatever the greatest evil they can. And they do as much as their authority, their power. And in such a way that, for whatever reason, the persons who oppose have, according to these, committed a very great treachery. In this situation who would want to be a traitor!!!

As I touched on in every subject, I had defended that we must accept that all of us humanity can make mistakes. To set up an organization means that the person at the head or to be brought to the head has the authority of ruling. How does this one, three, five or five hundred persons at the head prove that they are more intelligent and faultless than all the people in the world, that the most right will be theirs?! Even if I am far ahead of a 10-year-old child in age and knowledge, there have been times when I saw that even that ten-year-old was more right than me. Have such experiences not happened to all of us? Now, depending on our pride, our arrogance or our humility, we have shown a reaction. By telling an experience that happened to me, I will try to help you understand what terrible things organizational forms of administration can do.

There was someone with whom I researched the Holy Scripture and the Quran together. I also know that with this person, with whom I later became friends, we sat in his own workplace until four in the morning many times and talked about God. In fact his knowledge about God, his faith and, I believe, his love for God too were certainly not like mine. By this I do not aim to exalt myself and belittle that person. Had he too researched like me, given his time and his interest to these subjects, perhaps he would have had far more knowledge than me and could have been ahead of me on the subject of faith and love too. For instance, while he saw the Holy Scripture for the first time in his life when with me, I had read and researched the Holy Scripture from beginning to end so many times I could not know the number. That is, on this subject I was plainly, beyond all doubt, more knowledgeable and experienced than him. More accurately, I thought so. With that friend we would talk and discuss about every subject. But at that time, with my having been affected by the Witnesses, the knowledge I had on the subject of taking and giving blood was wrong.

That this is wrong I can today say so easily. We lived about 19 years with this belief. Thank God, a bitter foolishness did not befall us. I have a child, and if blood had been necessary for him as a result of an accident, I believe I would have opposed, to my death, its being given! As I say, it is good that we did not live such a bitter event. But there are tens of thousands, even millions of people living so as a Jehovah's Witness. Do you know what is the most bitter? It is your understanding, a day coming, that that belief of yours is baseless and that, instead of being acceptable to God, you are His wrath. At the same time you notice too that you have been deceived, you become terribly angry, are gripped by rage. Especially if you have lived a bitter event too. For instance, if, being the cause of the death of your child, whom you call your only little one, of your wife, of any other you love, by not having that blood given, and besides struggling like a faithful lion on this subject! And then you notice that you were mistaken. Please think a little of the conscience you would have. After all these, especially if a person is also poor on the subject of forgiveness, he could even do much more crazed things. As I say, it is good that a bitter event on this subject did not befall us. Yes, on this subject of blood that friend opposed strongly and defended that he was in favor of taking blood and saving life. And I, supposedly with proofs from the Holy Scripture and speaking of the medicine and doctors in our world being in a sense human and of their errors, was struggling for him to have the same view and belief on the subject of blood as me. Anyway, on this friend, whether on subjects I taught well or on subjects I taught wrongly like this, I cannot say I was successful. While saying, thank God it was so about the teaching on the subject of blood, I would like to say the same things about other subjects too, but unfortunately. Anyway, still, one never knows.

Now let us come to the most vital point of the subject. Imagine that I, on this subject in which I believed with the most heartfelt heart and sincerity, had been the president of a religious organization. That friend would have been burned! He, and his family, and thousands too. Because I believed so, and to apply this belief I would have wanted everyone to be like me. And with the best intention at that. Even if I had not the tiniest interest and bad intention, I would have done everything I could so that everyone would come after my headlessness. Now I do not know what I would have done in keeping with my knowledge and my beliefs. If I say I would consent even to my child's death, now you think the rest.

There is a religion and it is organized. Let us say I too am its president. A religion that has millions, even billions of members. However good a person I am, and however much more knowledgeable than the others about religion and God I may be, you saw the result with the example I gave. Until quite a short time ago I had such a donkeyish belief on this subject of blood. A time came, an era changed, I noticed my donkeyness. While writing these writings I said to myself, “it is good that I am not the president or anything of such a religion.” I would not accept such a foolishness in dominating people with the responsibilities of being president, ruler anyway; well, never mind. But do you know how very many people there are on earth eager for such works and sick for these works? Here, being organized achieves only this. And to struggle, saying I will provide unity in that organization, requires only murderousness, monstrousness, hatred and an understandingless heart of stone. In the rulers of all organized establishments too these features are present many times over. And even if at the beginning they do not have such a heart, being organized, with every kind of pressure, will, a day coming, threaten those rulers even to death so that they too have this mental attitude, and if necessary will even destroy them. That is, it is not solely the rulers at the head who make the organization bad. In its function, whether you be the head or the rear, surely a day coming, it will choke and swallow you too. By choking, by swallowing, what is meant is a person's selling himself, betraying God, being forced to trample the superior values underfoot even though he does not want to. And this is achieved only by organizing people.

In Hitler's time, the subject that a Jewish woman engineer working in a Jewish camp insistently wanted them to do in a construction is announced to the camp commander. The camp commander listens to the engineer and then has the engineer shot right there and says to his soldiers, “Still, do the work the way she said.” This too is the way of granting rightness of an organized dictator regime. He grants rightness, but by killing. He kills because, saying, “How can you oppose us.” Had the engineer not opposed, that place foolishly built would collapse. This time the engineer would again be killed. Because, although the responsibility was hers, why did she not do the right thing, or did her work badly. According to this event, doing what is right and opposing their foolishness means death too, and keeping silent and not opposing means death too. Now someone will again say: “Brother, why do you bind organization to the enmity, the hatred, the murder and killing in the example you gave?” True, in outward appearance there seems to be no connection. Only let us not forget, if this enmity, this hatred, this monstrousness has become the duty of each of those people, the organizing of this by a handful of men who have it so in their minds has achieved it. The mentality of those few persons has, by being organized, been imposed on a whole nation, and with the understanding of duty, homeland, nation at that. The same things are again being lived in present-day Germany, but this is not our subject. Yet had they not been organized, all these negative feelings would have disappeared only together with a handful of men. Well, what would have happened if that handful of men were good? First let us ask this question: “Is there a good human?” Did we not say there is no such human on earth because of our sins? God too says this plainly. (Psalms 53:2-3) And even if they were of good intention, at most they would again be like our world. Which state, country or nation on our earth can anyone show as an example to humanity? Do you say, “every one who loves his homeland, his nation”? It may be, but here I am speaking of impartial and superior divine human values; I am not defending a biased, selfish blindness.

If all the truths are so, come then and organize humanity, saying I will draw it near to God! As I say, this mentality of organization has always destroyed humanity. If we have not yet all disappeared, the first and greatest reason is God, and the second reason is that people do not listen exactly to those organizations' commands; that they use their initiative, their conscience. And generally the laws of states do not enter, like the religionists, into a man's blood, his underwear, his kidney, his spirit; from time to time they give freedom. This too lengthens the duration of the business of disappearing. That is, it slowly causes pain and tortures. It is like someone with a very strong constitution getting cancer. The cancer will kill the patient, will, but the sound constitution lengthens the time and only makes the patient suffer more pain, that is all.

We come across other similar examples in Islam after Muhammad's death. If Muhammad had been inspired by Satan, he would certainly have inoculated this idea of organization into those who became Muslims while still in his life. But no, the fight of “who will come to the head” begins after his death. Muhammad neither wanted such a thing nor said “do it.” For this reason the Muslims are still in a war. The sects, the separations, the hatreds, the blood-sheddings still stem from their being in favor of putting a president over their head and being organized. The aim is the wish to make people slaves to themselves under the name of unity. Not to God, but to their own desires. Because I have said many times that God wants a worship that comes from the heart. (Exodus 25:2; John 4:23-24) These, however, again, without looking at all at the human's heart, idea, faith, conscience, love, knowledge, the value he gives to God, want solely to reach the aim they themselves target. What that aim they planned is, only they and God know. But those donkey members do not know this at all and do not want to know either. And lying behind all these is Satan. As I said, since for him ruling a few persons is easier than ruling a few hundred million, he has always resorted to the method of organizing everything. That, under this word, it creates in people's minds associations like being orderly, arranged, successful, is a skill of his too. So then, when one says organizing, what is called to your minds?

With these writings I have written, I do not mean to say, “leave humanity to itself and let everyone do what he wants, or not do it, cut, hang, steal, strike.” I do not say either, “every feeling, thought, will, intelligence and ability of deciding of people is always right and works flawlessly.” To oppose the thought of organization does not mean to defend lawlessness. If there is an uprightness, if a thing that must be done should be done, and if, behind all these, the target is to draw near to God and to love Him, I say this absolutely is not and cannot be in the form of organization. For a short while, they may seem successful only to those who watch them from outside. But their essence and inside are full of secrecy, hypocrisy, fraud, show. With these features one does not draw near to God, but definitely distances oneself from Him.

It may be, perhaps we too may be a member of a religion, sect or order that works in the form of organization on the subject of faith in God. But everyone must throw off his old sinful and wrong personhood from himself as it is. As Jesus said: “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross every day and come after me.” (Luke 9:23)

To give establishments that have targeted working like an organ and carry on their function in the form of organization the love, the obedience, the trust and the faith that should be given and shown solely and solely to God, is, in my view, not befitting humanity.

There is surely a yoke. That is, the thing put on the neck of that animal to plow the field, or for it to pull the cart, is called a yoke. That this is a burden is of course certain. Who would want to put a yoke on his neck and pull a load? Jesus the Messiah voices this truth thus:

“O all you weary and heavy-laden! Come to me, I will give you peace. I am gentle and humble. Enter my yoke and learn from me, thus your souls will find peace. My yoke is easily carried, and the burden I will give is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Let us again and again never forget this truth; surely, but surely, God created people in a way that they would need Himself. That is, no creature can continue its existence without God. This is a feature belonging only to God. Some people, while saying, “I will be free,” try to break all yokes. There can be no such absurd thing. No one is free in that sense on earth. Whether they be kings or slaves, all of them have yokes they must carry. Every human lives under a state administration. Whether he wants to or not, he gives tax to that administration, must comply with its laws. Again, whether it pleases him or not, he is ruled by those persons. For the rulers too the situation is not much different. They too have ones they must give account to, and are terrified of one another. The freedom among them resembles the war of hungry wolves. However much they make themselves be carried on the back of the people, they too do not have full freedom. Indeed at times they are far more slaves than ordinary people. They cannot even go out to take air comfortably. In short, whoever we may be, these are loads automatically placed on people from birth or afterward. I do not want to enter into a subject of whether it is right or wrong; but with this I want to state a truth. Because Messiah Jesus knows this truth, he says, “enter my yoke and learn from me, your souls will find peace.” As I say, there are some yokes that a person carries by obligation anyway. Like the taxes given, the struggle of life, military service, family, school, the obligations at the workplace, etc. But apart from these, on the subject of which load we will choose from among other loads we take on, we generally have a freedom. What are these loads we take on over and above? For instance, marrying, having a child, taking on active duties within certain establishments, etc. And most importantly, belonging to a religion. Even if they do not always give this freedom, we can still choose. For this reason, if you pay attention, Jesus the Messiah says “enter my yoke.” This is something a person must do with a free will. Otherwise he would not say “enter,” he would say “I will put my yoke on you.” In one it is done freely, while according to the other expression it is done by obligation, or without that person's idea and wish being asked. And on us, without being asked like this, by force, many more yokes I have not counted here have been placed from birth.

God, however, since He is a God who gives freedom, wants His servants too to come to Him not by force but lovingly. He never resorts to the way of organizing. When we read about Jesus the Messiah in the Gospels, whether it be the speeches he gave to thousands of people, the help he did, or his feeding and satisfying thousands of people, none of them was realized in an organized way. On the contrary, these events always took place at that moment, without waiting and with people's own wishes. Jesus gave no one an appointment. He did not say either, “go today, come on this day.” And he never, ever wanted his disciples to do something and follow him with pressure, threat, brute force. Nor did he put them under such an obligation. We can understand the value he gave to people too from the questions he asked them. His aim was to ensure that people, using their own abilities, see the truths. He drove away and sent off empty no one who came to him. And those who did not want him and left him, he again left to their own will. Because if he wanted to apply pressure, can there be anyone who can apply pressure better than God? Everyone knows there is no equal to Him in strength and power. And if it is to frighten, again on this subject the greatest superiority is always God's. More accurately, to what can we liken God, and with whom can we compare Him? With no one, because there is no equal to Him. With the Lord's creating us in His own image, He gave us, His creatures, of His aspects, His features that resemble Himself. As everyone will accept, the creator can never be compared with the creature. We, however, by applying pressure to people in God's name, do we suppose we are protecting Him? Or do we suppose we are zealously representing Him? While giving penalties to others, do we see it as if He appointed us as judge? With our works, our words, our heart's attitude, our living, and so far from Him at that. (Matthew 14:13-21; 15:29-39; 20:29-34; John 6:66-69)

Alongside all these, although God wants to draw us to Himself with a free will, He will not oblige those who do not come to Him and who hate His order either, but will surely, a day coming, destroy them. On this subject the following words are written:

Because the one who finds me finds life, and wins the Lord's favor. But the one who ignores me harms himself; everyone who hates me means he loves death. Proverbs of Solomon 8:35-36

Well, the duty of Jesus the Messiah as king in the heavens and the 144 thousand chosen ones — and this number too may be symbolic — those who help him as kings and priests, to turn the earth into paradise — is this too not a form of organization? Let us hear the very beautiful answer to this from Jesus himself:

I no longer call you slaves; for a slave does not know what his master does, but I have called you friends; for I have made known to you all the things I heard from my Father. John 15:15

They will take on the duty, together with people, of turning the world into paradise within this understanding. And this duty will be written in their hearts. Not because they are organized. Which organization has an approach like the one Jesus said above?

Think of the simplest work in your mind. Perhaps, with our accustomed knowledge, we say, “that work, if it is not organized, just will not happen and will not be realized.” Let us not forget that the things that seem impossible to us are possible in God's sight. Here, for the sake of giving an example, I said let there be any very small work in your imagination. For instance, is the work of making the whole world paradise too a small work? It is not; no one would claim this either. Here, this duty God gave to Adam and Eve at the very beginning. What did He say to them? How did He organize them? Or how were they to be organized while doing this work? Let us read from its place what is written:

God blessed them; and God said to them: Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. Genesis 1:28

This enormous command, all said in one sentence, how were they to fulfill it? Not by being organized, but with joy. Because the things that would fulfill this command were already naturally written in their hearts and their minds. They, only by forcing themselves, leaving these features they had, unfortunately did not obey. That is all.

Moreover, when God created the human, He did not say have dominion over one another. In the Holy Scripture it is written: “A day comes when the human's dominion over the human harms himself.” (Ecclesiastes 8:9) Again:

“…Because GOD loves a cheerful giver,” it says. (2 Corinthians 9:7) The mentality of organization cannot achieve this.

Since this was in their minds and their creation, why were they disobedient? Indeed, a fitting question.

In fact this very example of the first humanity proves that God did not create them in the thought of organization. Because they were not robots that carry out commands. A reason related to the question too was their being deceived. And to trample that command they had to force themselves. They forced themselves and trampled it. They would realize what they did and would do, having a free will. And they did not at all have such difficulty in applying God's wishes, on the contrary. The hardship and the pain too that befell them ruled after they became disobedient. They distanced themselves from God's promises and only became unhappy. Their living eternally happily and turning the earth into paradise and having dominion over it could no longer be in question either. Well, with Adam's disobedience, did this hope disappear? No. Look, what does God say about how He will again turn this earth of ours into paradise, without organizing, after the dead are raised? I will write again this verse I gave above:

…I will place my sharia within them, and write it upon their hearts; and I will be God to them, and they will be a nation to me. Jeremiah 31:33b

Had He been a God in favor of organization, He would not say I will write it upon their hearts; like all organizations do, He would say “I will have them write it into the law books.” After Adam's sinning, God says words of a prophetic nature in keeping with this truth to Satan, and at the same time to humanity and to the angels, and says:

I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and the woman's seed; he will attack your head, you will attack his heel. Genesis 3:15

We know that an attack on the heel hurts, while an attack on the head kills. This prophecy related to Satan means an open and clear, comprehensible end. As some teach, do you suppose that God did not know what Adam and Satan would do, and was suddenly gripped by panic because of the things He saw?! At the head of the religious organizations that spread such funny teachings are the Witnesses. Yet in Satan's claim related to humanity, God, with trust, without any doubt — God does not doubt anyway, because all the future is open and clear to our creator's eye — for this reason says to Satan, “he will crush your head.” If God doubted, He would say, “I will crush your head.” But God is sure of the work He does. We too can be sure, because His promises will be realized. And all these too are not in an organized way, but in a way God planned. And He, as we read, promises that He will realize His plan by writing it into the minds and hearts of those He created. Had this not been written in the minds and hearts of His creatures, the crushing of that snake's head too would be a false prophecy. If God says these things at the very beginning of the business, it means He is sure of what He placed inside and into our hearts. Until now God's making a false prophecy has never been seen or heard. Research and look in the books, and if there is one, tell me too.

Is it better, more beautiful and, most importantly, more happiness-giving if a thing is done coming from the heart; or with command, pressure, fear? Of course we say coming from the heart. Here, this is God's order. Is there an organization that can do, can achieve this? What did wise Solomon say with God's spirit?:

The fear of man sets a trap; but the one who trusts in the Lord dwells in safety. Proverbs of Solomon 29:25

So then it is not at all hard to understand how much the Lord is against the thought of organization. Organizations, with threat, pressure, force, secrecy, frightening, set up their dominion over those people and, riding on their backs, want to reach their targets. And the target is to make them serve solely their own aims, which they themselves do not even fully know whether are right or wrong. Those people they take after them — no, I will say the people they ride on the back of and put in the place of donkeys — well, they never want those too to always remain donkeys and to be saved from walking on all fours by straightening up on their feet. If you are going to claim the opposite, think again then and prove it! People have taken to it: “Please bring over our head someone like us who rules us,” or, “bring us over your head; look how well we will rule you; and leave all your faith, your thought, your mind, your soul to us. Do not fear, we will give account of this.” And humanity, with great pleasure, called the name of this business being organized. And they have been convinced, “without being organized nothing happens.” Are two people working in a place? They have stuck a third person at their head to organize them. Do you know how very many such organizers there are? But humanity too has gotten so used to this situation that, if you do not put someone over their head, they have become ones who do nothing either! And the supporters of organization, seeing this, cry out at the top of their voices: “Did you see, look, if we are not there nothing moves.”

God's prophets and the Messiah are very far from the thought and attitude of organization. As I said often while telling our subject, just as God has no need of such a pressure regime that will bring unhappiness, that will prevent development in the human, on the contrary, He loves the one who, of His creatures, gives and does with joy according to his abilities. Only then does the ability every human has come out. The mentality of organization, however, wants to choke and destroy values like the ability, knowledge and faith in everyone, and gather them in a mentality stemming from a few people. And it sees this as a very great success.

Well, why do we always see organized things as pressure?

Not only on spiritual subjects, but in fact even on any work, organizing people most of the time does not give joy. Because when a plan that has been made is put into practice, the organization determines those who must work in this business, not the persons themselves. And organizations do not stop at arranging those people only like organs; they also expect them to work and function like organs. Which of us, if our heart spoke and said, “I do not want to beat today,” would we permit it? Or if our kidneys said, “I am going on vacation for two weeks,” would we meet it with pleasure? What we expect from our organs is that they work, if possible always and without any sputtering, solely according to our wish. Because this means life for us. Such an expectation can be shown only toward lifeless things, organs, machines, tools and equipment, but never toward the human. Does this belittle the human? On the contrary, it makes him valuable. However much more robots work than the human, however much knowledge they store within themselves, and even if they have no needs like sleep, toilet, the human who makes and invents the robot is far superior to it. Have you ever seen or heard a laughing kidney, a rejoicing liver, a spleen, a machine, a computer, an engine that shows its love? Are we mad, to believe in such things and talk about them? But to organize people for an aim means to take away their joys and to strive to reduce to zero the quality of whatever it is we want to obtain. Think of all the useful things that have been invented. Almost all of those who invented these found those things as free. Anyway, the things invented by keeping under pressure, by force, by threat have had more harm than benefit to humanity.

Even if the effort on this path of a person who enters an organization is at the beginning free and very willing; for how long does this go on so? Surely a day coming, those things he does will become monotonous in his eyes, the value he gives, the respect he shows and his joy will disappear. God, however, does not even want to accept the sacrifice of the one who gives unwillingly, with a bad heart. (Genesis 4:4-5) Organization, however, does not look at such things. In it there are numbers like number, strength, comfort, the power called success, statistics. The spirit and love, mercy, forgiveness are dead for them. They look at and value the physical, that is, the outwardly visible things. And the Jehovah's Witnesses are not the only establishment in our world that has organized itself. Since the world was set up and sin entered the world, people have striven to organize themselves. (Holy Scripture-Genesis 11:1-9) Take a look like this at the history of our earth and at humanity. You decide how much happiness they have obtained, having arranged what and how. I believe that the place they frightened us with as hell will never again be like this world of ours.

In the light of all this information, if you will still, trusting in the light of an organization, prefer to go on the wrong path rather than to go alone on the right path, this of course is something you will know. Let us not forget this verse too:

The Lord says thus: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes man his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. Because he will be like the tamarisk in the desert, and will not see when good comes, but will dwell in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land, where no one lives. Happy is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose trust is the Lord. Because he will be like a tree planted by the waters, that tree which sends out its roots by the river, and does not fear when heat comes, and its leaf is green, and in the year of drought is not anxious, does not cease from bearing fruit. Jeremiah 17:5-8

If we think logically, had God been an organizer God, would He have left Satan's rising up against Him unpunished at the very beginning? Would He not have killed and destroyed Adam, or his son Cain who committed the first murder? On the contrary, upon Cain's saying to God, “…it will come to pass that whoever finds me will kill me” (Genesis 4:14-15), God says, “Therefore whoever kills Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold,” and places a mark upon Cain so that whoever finds him will not strike him. Yet an organization will have a plan, and while applying this plan an obstacle will come before it! And that organization will have unlimited power! What does it do? It crushes and passes. Organization is like a deadly virus. Do not see its having spread rapidly and taken the world under its effect as success.

Lastly I must also state, so that what I have written is not misunderstood. Even though, because of our flawed, sinful features inclined to evil, I do not believe that being organized is necessarily required whatever is done, still it can be done. In the short lives people live, in the things they want to obtain rapidly, impatiently, this seems the easiest way. Indeed I say we even have to organize some things in this world system. Because we cannot oppose this system that has filled the whole world. But I say again and again that, despite all these, by being organized no one can set up a good relationship between himself and God, nor make anyone set one up. The thing God expects from those who come to Him and to which He gives the most importance is that we draw near to Him freely, with love and joy. The fears, pressures, threats, hour-writings, showing off in the squares, the worships night and day deceiving ourselves that we will guarantee paradise, the running door to door with the Holy Scripture, the Torah, the Quran in their hands, saying, “No one but us will be saved, so come to us,” and a host more of ill-mannered attitudes and behaviors stemming from conceit that I cannot count, are an abomination in our Creator's sight, apart from these. Even if organizations achieve everything that is an abomination in God's sight, they cannot achieve giving a true joy and freedom, drawing people near to God by this means. They have never, in any era, achieved it, and never, in any era, will achieve it.

According to the Lord's promise, to run with our own personhood, and not to be spiritually lazy, toward the time and the target when the whole earth will be turned into paradise, far from Satan and without organization, with joy; here, this is the human duty that falls to us. These things God planned before He created the earth. And this plan God will fulfill not in an organizer way, without keeping under pressure, in a way that all His creatures will be happy, free and joyful.
